The ReSound Remote Control features large buttons that are concave, tactile, and ergonomic, with raised symbols in the center so they are easy to locate and glide a finger over. Making it especially helpful for users who struggle with manual dexterity.
Use the ReSound Remote Control to activate a ReSound TV Streamer, adjust hearing aid volume and program settings, or trigger your device’s mute function. All without touching your hearing aids. Arrow buttons allow you to select the left or right hearing aid to make changes to only one of them at a time.
The ReSound Remote Control is small and handy. It fits in a handbag, a pocket, or the palm of the hand like a keyless car key.
The Remote Control communicates with hearing aids using the 2.4 GHz frequency band for a stable, responsive wireless connection. The Remote Control is totally dormant when no button is pressed, meaning there is no need for an on/off button. The battery should last at least one year with normal use.
To pair with a hearing aid, simply press the pairing button on the back of the Remote Control and open and close the battery door of the hearing aid or remove the hearing aid from the charger. Once paired, your hearing aids remember the remote automatically.
The buttons are concave and require a certain amount of force to be pressed, making accidental button presses unlikely even when carried in a pocket or bag. No dedicated lock button needed.
The Remote Control is powered by a widely available CR2032 lithium coin cell battery that is easy to replace. No charging required, just swap the battery when needed.
