⚠️ Important Warning Before Purchasing Hearing Aids Online!

Hearing aids are not one-size-fits-all! Purchasing online without professional guidance may lead to:

  • Poor Fit & Comfort Issues – Improperly fitted devices can cause discomfort or even make hearing worse.
  • Limited Sound Quality – Without a proper fitting and adjustments, your hearing aid may not perform as expected.
  • No Hands-On Support – Fine-tuning and troubleshooting are easier in person with a local provider.

We offer telehealth fittings to help you get the best possible outcome, but this is not “best practice”.  This fee will be automatically added to your cart.  You may not remove it unless you can prove that you have a licensed provider that will fit these on you.  If you do have a provider, we can refund you this fee upon proof.

For optimal results, we recommend visiting a local provider for a proper fit and sound adjustment.
Please note: If we determine that the hearing aid is not the right fit for you, we reserve the right to decline the sale and issue a refund. Your hearing health is our priority!

Description

With this technology:

1. Improved Sound Quality:

Dual-core processing enhances the sound quality of Rexton M-core BTE hearing aids, providing clear and natural amplification. The advanced algorithms in each processing core optimize the sound signal, therefore resulting in a more accurate and comfortable listening experience for the user.

2. Enhanced Speech Understanding:

Dual-core processing incorporates sophisticated signal processing algorithms that prioritize speech signals. This feature improves speech understanding, making it easier to comprehend conversations in various listening environments, including noisy or challenging situations.

3. Adaptive Directional Microphones:

Dual-core processing often includes adaptive directional microphone technology. These microphones focus on sounds coming from the front while suppressing background noise from other directions. By prioritizing speech and reducing noise, users can concentrate on the sounds they want to hear, leading to improved speech intelligibility.

4. Feedback Cancellation:

Hearing aids including Rexton BiCore Devices with dual-core processing typically employ advanced feedback cancellation algorithms. These algorithms effectively eliminate whistling or feedback noises that can occur when sound leaks from the hearing aid’s speaker back into the microphone. This ensures a more comfortable listening experience, even in situations where feedback is common.

5. Wireless Connectivity:

Many dual-core processing hearing aids such as the BiCore hearing aid offer wireless connectivity options, such as Bluetooth. This allows users to connect their hearing aids to compatible devices like smartphones, televisions, or audio streaming accessories. Wireless connectivity enables seamless audio streaming and provides convenient control over hearing aid settings for enhanced convenience and accessibility.

6. Customizable and Discreet Designs:

Dual-core processing hearing aids, again the BiCore, are available in customizable designs to ensure a tailored fit and discreet appearance. They can be fitted with earmolds or come with various types of domes to meet individual preferences, ensuring both comfort and aesthetics.

7. User-Friendly Features:

Rexton’s Bicore processing hearing aids often come with user-friendly features such as volume controls, program selection options, and smartphone apps for remote control and adjustments. These features empower users to personalize their hearing experience according to their specific needs and preferences, putting control at their fingertips.

By incorporating Bicore processing, hearing aids can provide significant benefits in sound quality, speech understanding, feedback management, and wireless connectivity. Combined with customizable designs and user-friendly features, these hearing aids offer an enhanced and personalized listening experience for individuals with hearing loss.

Overall, the BiCore Rexton BTE technology provides superior sound quality, enhanced speech understanding, feedback cancellation, wireless connectivity, customizable design, and user-friendly features. These benefits contribute to a more satisfying and enjoyable hearing experience for individuals with hearing loss.

All three of the RICs come with an IP68 rating. The Audéo L-RL has additional features, such as the absence of charging contacts, that help improve its resistance to moisture. Prescription hearing aids are precisely programmed medical devices, tailored to your exact audiogram, fitted by a licensed professional, and capable of addressing the full range of hearing loss from mild to profound. They are not off-the-shelf. They are built around your specific hearing profile, your lifestyle, and your listening needs. New to prescription hearing aids? Before You Buy: You Need a Current Audiogram

Prescription hearing aids cannot be programmed or properly used without a current audiogram. This is a clinical requirement, not a formality. If you don't have one, see the options below before purchasing. An audiogram is a detailed map of your hearing across frequencies and volumes in each ear. Every prescription hearing aid we sell is programmed to your audiogram by a licensed audiologist. Without it, the device cannot be set up correctly for your hearing loss. I have a current audiogram: You're ready. Upload it when you contact us and we'll get started. I'm in Minnesota and need a hearing evaluation: Visit our Hears to U audiology clinic in Hopkins for a comprehensive evaluation. [LINK to hearstou.com] I'm outside Minnesota and need local care: Reach out — we'll help you find a trusted provider near you. I don't have an audiogram and want to start with something now: OTC hearing aids are self-fitted and don't require one.

What You Get When You Shop at Hears Hearing & Hearables

Transparent Pricing --Always

When you buy from us, you see exactly what you're paying for. The hearing aids. The fitting. The programming. The follow-up care. All fees are itemized, no bundled markups, no surprises. You choose the services you need; you don't pay for the ones you don't. View our complete Provider Fees within the provider page before you commit to anything.

Authentic Products With Full Manufacturer Warranties

Every device we sell is authentic, U.S.-approved, and backed by the full manufacturer's warranty, typically three years for repairs plus one-time loss and damage coverage. We've seen what happens when patients chase the lowest price from unverified sellers: counterfeit devices, no manufacturer support, no recourse. We don't sell that way.

Licensed Audiologist Support, In Minnesota or Nationwide via Telehealth

You don't have to be in Minnesota to receive professional hearing care from our team.
  • Have your audiogram, and we program your devices to your exact hearing profile
  • Remote fine-tuning - adjustments made via your smartphone app by a licensed audiologist
  • Virtual follow-up appointments - no waiting rooms, no unnecessary travel
  • In-person care in Hopkins, MN - available at our Hears to U clinic for Minnesota patients.  Reach out for a provider near you.

How to Buy Prescription Hearing Aids Online: Step by Step

Step 1. Get a hearing evaluation and own your audiogram. A professional audiogram is the foundation of any prescription fitting. If you pay for your hearing test, you're entitled to a copy — ask for it. Medicare beneficiaries: an audiologist visit is covered with a standard copay. Step 2. Decide how you want care delivered. Telehealth works well for most follow-up adjustments and many initial fittings. If you prefer in-person, we can see you in Hopkins or connect you with a provider near you. Step 3. Choose your devices. We carry all the major prescription brands: Phonak, Starkey, Oticon, Signia, ReSound, Widex, Unitron, and Rexton. Browse below or contact us for a personalized recommendation. Step 4. Build your package. Your hearing aids plus the fitting, programming, and follow-up support that match your lifestyle. All fees are itemized, no bundled surprises. Step 5. We program and ship. Once your audiogram is on file, we program your devices and ship them directly to you, with remote support built in from day one. Not sure which brand or model is right for you? Read our prescription hearing aid buying guide or contact our team; we'll narrow it down based on your audiogram, lifestyle, and budget.

What to Watch Out For When Buying Online

Not all online hearing aid sellers operate with the same care. Here's what to watch for:
  • No audiogram required. If a seller ships prescription hearing aids without your hearing test results, they cannot program them properly. Walk away.
  • No licensed professional involved. Look for professionals' credentials, not just a customer service team.
  • Price dramatically below market. Counterfeit devices exist. Authentic prescription hearing aids from major manufacturers have price floors. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
  • No trial period. Quality providers offer 30–60 days to confirm the devices are working for you.
  • No follow-up care. Programming is just the beginning. Adjustments, fine-tuning, and support after delivery are part of what makes prescription hearing aids work.
