Earwax is one of the leading causes of hearing aid malfunction, and the easiest to prevent. During daily use, earwax can work its way into the sound outlet of your hearing aid and partially or completely block the passage of sound. ReSound Wax Guards are a simple solution that keeps your hearing aids performing at their best, day after day.

Easy to Replace at Home

Each new ReSound wax guard comes mounted on one end of a matchstick-sized disposable tool. At the other end is a hook for removing the used wax guard from the hearing aid. To change your wax guard:

1. Insert the removal end of the tool into the old wax guard and gently pull it out
2. Flip the tool and press the new guard into place
3. Discard the tool and used guard, you're done!

If your hearing aid has a dome, remove it before changing your wax guard.
