Which Technology Level Is Right for You

Every Starkey Omega AI and Edge AI device runs on the same physical hardware and the same core processing platform. What changes between technology levels is the sophistication of automatic environment detection and the number of processing channels. Here is the honest guide:

• Level 24 (Premium): the most sophisticated automatic adaptation across complex, rapidly changing environments. Also the only level that includes DNN 360 directionality in the Omega AI. Worth the investment for people who frequently navigate challenging acoustic situations: busy restaurants, large meetings, social gatherings, active workplaces.
• Level 20 (Advanced): strong automatic adaptation for most listening situations. A meaningful middle ground for people whose listening environments are varied but not consistently extreme. Often the best value for active adults.
• Level 16 (Standard): solid performance for everyday listening environments. Appropriate for people whose primary situations are quieter: home, one-on-one conversation, TV, phone calls. May struggle more in complex noise than the higher levels.

These prices are for hearing aid devices only. They do not include professional services. Here is what our service fees cover and how to find them:

• Fitting fee: covers the professional appointment, audiogram-based programming, and real-ear measurement verification
• Follow-up visits: available individually or as a service package, with all options itemized
• Remote adjustments via TeleHear: available through the My Starkey app for most Omega AI and Edge AI models

Looking for a Lower Price Point? Ask About Consignment

We occasionally carry professionally cleaned, previously owned Starkey devices through our consignment program. These are typically previous-generation models (Genesis AI, Evolv AI) at significantly reduced prices, with valid manufacturer warranties remaining. Consignment devices are an excellent way to access Starkey quality at a lower cost.
