This means your ‘brand new Miracle-Ear Genesis’ might contain the same core technology as a Starkey Genesis AI, just wearing a different label with different pricing and software customization. Patients generally have no idea this is happening.

Starkey’s Brand Family: The Alter Egos

Audibel

Starkey’s own private label brand, sold exclusively through a network of authorized dispensers. Same core technology as Starkey, different name and packaging. Current Audibel equivalents include the Vitality AI (equivalent to Edge AI) and Intrigue AI (equivalent to Genesis AI or Edge AI depending on model). Uses StarLink 2.0 chargers.

NuEar

Here is the surprise: the current Miracle-Ear Genesis is built by Starkey, not Signia. The Miracle-Ear BLISS MEENERGY is also a Starkey-platform device. This is the same technology inside as the Starkey Genesis AI, wearing a Miracle-Ear jersey. It uses the same StarLink 2.0 chargers as the Starkey platform.

This is publicly documented and not a secret Starkey keeps, but it is not prominently communicated to patients buying Miracle-Ear devices. If you own a Miracle-Ear Genesis or BLISS MEENERGY and are looking for chargers or accessories, you are shopping in Starkey’s ecosystem.

The current Miracle-Ear Genesis and BLISS MEENERGY hearing aids are built by Starkey on the Starkey Genesis AI platform. Historically, Miracle-Ear was associated with the Siemens and later Signia lineage, but the current Genesis-branded models are Starkey technology. Does Omega AI use the same charger as Edge AI and Genesis AI?

Can I use my Genesis AI charger for my new Omega AI hearing aids?

Yes, if both are RIC models (mRIC R or RIC RT). Omega AI, Edge AI, and Genesis AI all use the StarLink 2.0 charger, and these are interchangeable across the three platforms for the same style. Do not use a Thrive-era charger (for Livio or Evolv devices), those are not compatible with any current platform.

What is the difference between the Standard and Premium StarLink 2.0 charger?

The Standard charger must be plugged into a wall outlet to charge your hearing aids. The Premium charger has an on-board lithium-ion battery that lets you charge your hearing aids without being plugged in, providing approximately three additional full charges on the go. Both include turbo charging: approximately three hours of hearing aid use from seven to ten minutes of charging.

Are Audibel hearing aids compatible with Starkey chargers?

Yes. Audibel hearing aids are built on Starkey platforms and use the same charger systems. Audibel Aris AI (Omega AI equivalent) and Vitality AI (Edge AI equivalent) use StarLink 2.0 chargers. Why can’t I use Edge accessories with my Genesis AI hearing aids?

Edge accessories use Auracast via Bluetooth LE Audio. Genesis AI does not have Auracast; it uses the older MFi Bluetooth protocol. The two systems are not compatible for audio streaming.
